Lenise Williams is a mother, an attorney and a serial entrepreneur. Lenise is the sole practitioner in her small private law office in which she practices domestic and personal injury law. Lenise also provides legal services and seminars to aspiring and new small business owners. In addition, Lenise has contracted her legal services to state agencies and several small businesses. She has owned and operated a private preschool, developed a line of t-shirts, facilitated a lawyer referral service and continues to encourage and deliver motivational messages to minority women in their pursuit to living a life based on their passions.In conjunction with her mission to motivate and her struggles as an entrepreneur in male dominated fields with little to no mentorship, the premise for Mompreneur, Inc. was conceived. Knowing the personal struggles and the disappointing struggles of many female minority owned small businesses, Lenise knew that an organization such as Mompreneur, Inc was necessary. Businesses do not survive often due to lack of financial support, lack of business education, lack of networking and marketing opportunities. By structuring an organization to fill a void in all of the necessary categories, minority female entrepreneurs can feel empowered and uplifted in their journey.
